Özet


This study based on researches conducted on the explanation of intelligence and giftedness and focused on identification of giftedness and education models in our country. Identification of gifted children and educational models deal within the scope of the medical and educational models, parent, teacher, peer assessments and tests performed as multi identification methods were discussed to determine the role of giftedness. As a result, the situation in our country was discussed with a critical perspective in terms of identification and education models.
